Family DTS – a challenge to you and your family.  (by Ole & Karen Andersen – School leaders.)

Are you longing for growth in your family and a closer relationship with God?

Discipleship Training School for Families is an investment for life – five month set aside – in Gods greenhouse. 

DTS is more than a bible school – it is a time with focus on personal growth and deep roots. The first 12 weeks (lecture phase) is containing deep and personal teaching that will challenge you as an individual but also as a family to move deeper with God. The DTS is a ’live and learn’ environment, it is not just learning in the classroom but also during relationship with each other, practical work together, worship and prayer, through homework and fun.It is about knowing God and making him known – that is why the lecture phase is followed by an outreach. We will travel to another country, another culture and practise what we have learned. We are putting ‘hands and feet’s’ on God’s love.

It is important for us that the children thrive and have opportunities to grow in their life with God. Their daily schedule will allow time to play, different activities, help with home-schooling, and some teaching in the same topics as their parents – just targeted their age.

The school is international and it will be bilingual (English/Danish), with great speakers from different countries.

We have been staffing the last two Family DTS’s here at Sjellebro in Denmark and are so excited over all the things God have done. We have seen families strengthened, wounds getting healed, spiritual gifts developed, children being saved, dreams and visions being born….Some apply for a DTS to seek God for new goal and direction, others because they need a break from a busy everyday life, . Whether it is for personal growth or to be equipped to reach out to others, every family has experienced that God has changes tings in their life.

We have great expectations for the coming Family DTS. We believe that it is on Gods heart to equip families to build on his values and to stand together, minister together in the plans he has for them.

In 2011 We will combine the Family DTS with a Crossroad DTS – which means that it is also open for singles as long as they are open and positive towards the children  being part of the school and outreach. Do you feel challenged?
