During this year YWAM has been working together with Christians from Svendborg city to reach the city. This has created a strong prayer network and a great social fundament.  Our hearts are full of expectations to the Lord.

This means that from the 1st August 2010, a new exiting Discipleship Traning School (DTS) will take place in Svendborg City. With the focus on leadership and living a radical 24/7 life for God.

You will get a taste of what it looks like to live in mission. Our outreach will be a full on "Road Tip" through the major citys of  Europe;  Amsterdam, Paris, Prague Berlin just to name a few.  In Berlin we will be working at a 24/7 prayer cafe' in the heart of what was east Germany, ministring to hippies and youth cultures.

Our heart is to train young leaders to become who God has called them to be,  living a life that is transformed and breaking down the walls that stop us from being effective for God. We want to pass on tools that will make a different in the western world with our focuse on evangelism, leadership and mercy ministries. In Svendborg city we call it MercyHouse.

DTS means Discipleship Training School. Its a 6 month program, split up in two fases -lecture fase and outreach fase.

Lecture fase is 3 month radical teaching in Svendborg City, the outreach is  2 months of missions  "Roadtriping"  and working with the body of Christ in the major cities  in Europe.

The passion of the school is "to know God and to make him known". We want to train  young  leaders so they will have the tools and passion to start new intiatives in there own local areas when they return home, we want to see these young people transformed into young people who want to  live a 24/7 life for God,
